What skills does your character bring to the situation?
Steph has survival training and firsthand experience from Batman and from her questionable history in Gotham. She has an excellent sense of humor that usually puts people at ease, or at least disarms them. She really enjoys disarming people.
She wasn't very popular in school but she's good at making friends when she takes the time, even with people who don't know how to speak or read (Cassandra) or social outcasts (Supergirl, later). She has a way of relating with people both more and less fortunate than herself (Tim and Cassandra respectively) which means that she can make allies of the most unexpected people.
She has some medical knowledge, partly from Batman and partly from her mother, who's a nurse. She has the most incredible ability to take shit from nobody while giving herself the most shit of all. Her self esteem isn't great, but if you try to tell her that she's not worth her weight in gold she will tell you off, prove you wrong, then rub your face in it.
She's also a skilled gymnast and not bad at piano, but those are less relevant skills.
Why did you choose this specific character for 6I, and how do you picture them fitting into the game?
Steph is a character who does well in survival scenarios, tends to raise morale, and is nosy and personable enough that she's likely to get a lot of mileage out of any power she gets. I suspect she'll quickly integrate herself into the community and find ways to be helpful.
How do you imagine your character will survive in 6I, and in what ways will they contribute to the settlement, if any?
Steph will have a hard time scavenging at first, because that isn't a skill one uses much in Gotham, but she'll learn quickly enough. She'll be highly self-sufficient, choosing not to rely on anyone unless they insist on taking care of her or frame it as her taking care of them. That is one way she'll contribute: by taking care of people whenever she's able. She will, however, try to avoid being somebody that strangers look to and expect consistency from. She'd rather be a loner in the end.

Being separated, possibly permanently, from loved ones and their previous life, including loss of powers, if applicable?
Being away from Gotham will be something of a relief. At this canon point she feels that she’s committed an unforgivable sin, and if she isn’t met with hate she’ll be met with pity. She can't stand the idea of either. In canon she allows Leslie Thompkins to fake her death and spirit her away to Africa— here she won’t be convinced she isn’t actually just dead. Either way, it’s a fresh start that doesn’t need to be plagued by the very heavy shit of the last in-character months.
Their environment being manipulated, possibly in strange or extraordinary ways, and possibly in ways which restrain them?
This will be very unsettling to her, but not entirely new. Weird shit happens in Gotham, and in the DC Universe. At some point "weird" becomes normal. Steph is the type to roll with the punches for the most part. In so far as the environment is being affected, she won't be particularly concerned.
Being physically and/or mentally manipulated, such as having hallucinations or suddenly possessing special abilities they did not have before? The idea of an individual or group exercising that kind of control over Steph's person will make her angry, furious even, and possibly a little scared. Coming as she does from being tortured she doesn't like the idea of anyone having control over her besides herself. This will eventually tone itself down to bitterness if she determines that there’s nothing she can do to change it. She understands that there's no sense in throwing yourself at a brick wall.
