149 obituaries, 43 revivals that I know of. 156 user IDs documented. I have a list of repeat deaths in a notebook somewhere, but it's not very encouraging. Why?

43 revivals out of 149 deaths is roughly a 29% chance of revival, if we just take those numbers by themselves.

What are the numbers if you remove the repeats?

Because there are people who are gambling that they'll come back if they deliberately put themselves into a position to die. I wanted numbers to know how much they're being idiots.

117 deaths. Klaus and Sealand died 3 times each, 28 people have died twice. Of those only 4 are currently accounted for. House, Jack, Enoch and Clayton.

So there is some room for error, but not much, given that we all rely on network communication to a large extent.

Out of 30 people who have died twice, only 6 people have died twice and come back. That's only a 20% chance of revival. No one's made it back after a third death.

That also means that out of those 43 revivals, only 37 of them are unique. 37 have revived out of the 117 who have died. 31% chance of revival, if you look at the numbers that way.

Please correct me if I have any of those figures wrong.

On a different topic, Jack White is from your world, isn't he? Or is it Joker? What should I know about him, if I run into him somewhere?

Nobody knows his real name. Seriously, he was documented as "The Joker" during his trial and incarceration. If you run into him, you should know that he's a capable fighter and surprisingly clever. He drove his psychologist at Arkham insane.

Hand-to-hand, or does he have a weapons specialty? Or both? How did he do that to his psychologist? Does anyone know?

A little bit of everything. If anything he specializes in improvising weapons, including explosives and pharmaceuticals.

The transcripts aren't publicly available but the whole thing was documented. He talked her around to his side, and she fell in love with him and broke him out. They worked together for years after that.

I should mention this all took place in Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane.

...how common is it for things like that to happen in your world's insane asylums?

I don't know how much equipment he needs, but he's perfectly capable of making them from scratch.

It's unheard of. Arkham actually had a good reputation before the Joker. Now it's infamous.
