You know what they believe? Ed and Al, at least? That, for someone to be brought back to life, other people have to die. There has to be an equivalent exchange.

I still feel selfish, wanting them to come back.

It isn't selfish! It's human nature. I'd honestly be more concerned if you didn't want them to come back.

That isn't exactly unexpected either, is it? But there's no need to! I'm sure they're not exactly going to think badly of you for wanting them alive when they do come back.

It's just that, when I died, all my stuff was still with me when I woke up.

There's no need to apologise. It's more than understandable. Have you spoken to Doctor Epps? He might have antidepressants. I know that's not - I mean, you have reasons beyond brain chemistry to be sad, but...

I haven't really felt like talking to Clay this last week. For... mostly the same reasons I haven't been talking to you or Rhys.

I guess I could ask Shiro. I don't want to be more of a burden than I already am.

You aren't a burden, you - you fart. You're loved, and people want to help you. There's a pretty large difference.

You can, um, also shout at me whenever you want to if that would help.

I assume you're counting me in the dead club, then, which seems a little silly under the circumstances.

I don't think Rhys even likes me. And I'm just another kid for Clay to worry about.

I know Rhys pretty goshdarn well, and I'm certain that he loves you. He gets attached really easily. Like a big gross whiny puppy. And do you really think Dr. Epps would worry if he didn't care?

Fine, he's an unknown quantity. I maintain that you're loved, geez.
