[majorlazer]

[Zach, on film, looks just as tired and drawn as he did when he talked about his birthday on the network, a few days ago. He's pale, eyes red-rimmed with exhaustion and stress, but he's alert, and looks at the camera intently as he starts recording his message.]

[To the point, Zach. Make it easy for her to say yes or no.]

[ This is everything she's been wanting to hear for days, and she's pretty sure she owes Watson a gift basket or something. ]

We're on our way out of the tunnels now, we can come meet you. When should we expect you?

[He releases a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding, his body slumping a little as his head drops, chin to his chest.]

Three, four days maybe?

[He wants to say thank you, but he doesn't know how, right now. Nothing will sound quite right.]

Perfect! We'll be at the tunnel entrance by then.

[ She is so ready, you don't even know. ]

And, uh, incidentally we'll probably be out of food by then too.

I got some before going south, but we'll need to go get more.

[He pauses, kinda worried.]

[ From her tone you would expect reassurance. But. ]

Of course I'm mad. But I love you and miss you, and if you don't come back to me right now I'm gonna strangle you in your sleep.

[He lets out a laugh, a little crazy sounding.]

I miss you so much. I'm sorry, okay, I'm sorry if it felt like I don't trust you, because I do, I was just - I'm just terrified, you know.

[He's not sure if that's what she meant, but the thought scares him anyway. His voice is small when he asks.]

He hasn't checked in since the chapel, but I doubt he's gone very far unless someone volunteered to carry him.

[He licks his lips, thinking about whether or not he should talk about this, but then...]

[ She chuckles. Yeah, it was Watson. ]

He's a sap and he always comes through. He helped when Alfie was going after the Joker, too.
