I don't think that you *care* more about facts at all. But they're more reliable and solid. Facts are *facts,* they can't let you down or take advantage of you or do any of the other awful things that people can. They're something you can hoard, categorise, use. People, not so much.
And no. Not any more. It was part of what I used to do, though, yes.
Facts don't do that. The people wielding them do. And I didn't think you'd be the type to use anyone. Then again, I'm sure people think that about me too.
Actually, Vladof guns are so inferior to Hyperion products that you could probably make an argument for them killing peo

I see. Then I suppose I'm repeating my offer? You can ask me whatever you like about my history, if it matters so much. Or tell me yours, but like I said. I don't need it.
He's my closest friend and I love him. Why else would he be important?
Unless you want to know why I'm closer to him than anyone else, I suppose? We never met before coming here, but we still come from the same world. I can talk about my dad and he understands in a way other people can't, because he has the right frame of reference. We have similar interests. And experiences, if you squint.
Plus he's unique in that he's the only Hyperion employee I've ever met who isn't a complete jackhole. Like just 25% or so. >u>
After my mom died, anyway. Before that I don't remember very clearly. I thought the world of him, though. He broke a little after what happened to mom, but we still got along. It seems silly now, but I didn't mind him being overprotective then. Not after I got used to it.
[ The response is immediate, and Steph feels a little vindicated - if she had wanted to hurt Angel, this probably would have done it. Of course, she immediately goes back to feeling sorry for herself as well as bad for her friend. ]
And he freaked too. He's not used to anything like this! I know I've talked about how violent Pandora is, but Rhys worked on Helios. He's a corporate fartlord, not a bad*ss! Ugh I bet he got into fingergun fights with the accounts department and everything he's so embarrassing
Um, anyway. He's stressed, not used to being attacked even accidentally, and he's been having problems with his cybernetic arm since he got here. It was an accident waiting to happen. And that's what it was! An accident.
What was I supposed to do? You tried stealing the pills. You and Rhys were fighting. We had to split, and I'm sorry I do love you but Rhys is always going to be my priority.

I couldn't control my Siren powers as a child. I killed her.

By the way, never mention her to Jack. He gets very upset for reasons that should be obvious.
